Trey Reed, Stop And Smell The Roses

Without taking this class I would have never been able to see how powerful nature truly is. After reading and researching outside of class, as well as making tnature walks the power of nature is something that I understand now. One thing I have learned is that nature’s power is unlimited, unbiased and unpredictable. If people could learn how to embrace this power our world would be much less stressful. In our society, it seems as though adults have lost touch with their “inner child”; a point in our lives where we took the time to explore and experience nature. Adults have become too caught up in their cookie cutter, commercialized world to realize that one of the best ways to relieve their stress is to experience nature. Unfortunately, this is reflecting on their children as well. Today, children are too busy being cooped up in their rooms watching television or playing video games to see the beauty Mother Nature has provided us. If we could all just take the time to “stop and smell the roses” the world would be much less stressful.
