Lisa Fontanez, Paint it Black 4/1

A novel that I read over the summer is one about a woman's journey to finding herself after the loss of the only man shes ever loved and the acceptance of the hidden life he had behind her back. He was a rich boy who was very cultured and intelligent while she was, as she put it, trailer trash that decided to try and make it work in California. Whenever she has a realization and life altering moment, she's in nature. She's a woman who is need of help and guidance, which she eventually gains through the road she travels upon. It may be over dramatized but she had have life altering altercations in the environment and due to the relaxing and inducing atmosphere.
