So today I was out wandering by myself taking pictures for a photography project. I was walking along the noland when I something in particular caught my eye. It was a turtle and a duck within inches of each other. That seemed weird to me because I know that turtles don’t like to be around ducks because of the noise when ducks quack. So I snapped some pictures and moved along, not thinking twice about what I saw. A couple hours go by and it was like I had an epiphany. That simple interaction between animals describes so much more then what my eyes could see. The two species do like each in any way shape or form, but it’s the ability to coexist that made it special, it was one of those times where something you see lingers in your mind and then it spawns what you think is irrational thought.
