Another project for my photography class the other day, I was trying to produce a landscape in motion. The weather couldn’t have been better to do this. It was really windy which tends to produce the right amount of blue in my shots. I was down at Huntington Beach and I noticed that the bay was unusually rough, this made the normally calm looking water look almost like an actual ocean. So after about five minutes of planning I decided that I was going to do. I climbed out onto a jetty (with a 600 dollar camera no less) and started shooting. I had completed my project really fast, but decided to continue shooting anyways. Just before I was about to leave I was trying to frame the sunset over the rock ahead of me and just as I was going to snap the picture, a huge wave crashed over and I thought at the time that it had ruined the shot. Later I realized that it was a one of a kind picture, and one that I will probably never be able to replicate.
