Kyle Tobin The Celestine Prophecy

A read a book called The Celestine Prophecy, written by James Redfield. This book tells a story of a man who is told about nine insights in Peruvia that could change the modern church and world as we know it. Supposedly these manuscripts each tell a different lesson and after reading all of them is that a person makes connection between events happening now and events happening in the past. To go into detail of every single manuscript would be like writing a novel of my own, so I will discuss a couple of them. One of the insights extends ones consciousness of historical time. In which, at the beginning of time life was revolved around the church and serving Gods will was life's purpose. Then came thought that man needs to figure out why stuff is happening and humans went in search of this understanding all over the world. Basically, this search for understanding why things work became a substitute for having to do everything revolved around the church. I feel as if this insight is true because overtime things change because humans drop one thing in order to gain knowledge on something else and it is a never ending process. Additionally, another insight is being able to see a sort of energy field around living creatures. For example every person gives off a different energy depending on his/her mood or feelings towards a certain person. I feel that this insight could be realistic because being around someone who is happy will make you happy and being around someone negative is going to rub off on you.
