Joey Voboril "Phenomenological Perspective"

This class was particularly interesting because it was one of those classes that made you think deeply about the content. Even more intriguing is that its also a different way about thinking, and perceiving. Essentially it is based upon your experience. It can be based mostly on what you perceive through senses (hear noises, feel etc.) The experience you have can also be shaped by assumptions you make, memories you have that are recalled based on some kind of stimulant in the environment you are trying to experience. Other people can be a big influence too. For example, if someone else yawns and then you yawn, and soon you begin to feel tired. Then when you come back you associate that place with drowsiness and fatigue. I liked this discussion a lot because it was definitely something you knew but didn’t know how to put words on to it or perhaps have never discussed it before.
