Joey Voboril "On Buber's I and thou concept"

This is some very thick information, but is extremely valuable in the realm of spirituality and human interaction. Buber would say that “I is never an isolated being. It is always in relation to something else.” For example:

Between something – I – thou (you) is encounter
Inside of something – I- It (he or she) is experience

This is essentially the contrast of a casual delight (like seeing a friend in a hallway) with a deeply stirring happening (rocks your frame/ sense of awareness) I just think this concept is incredible. It is so true and applicable and I really appreciate Buber’s ability to put such deep concepts into words in a way that the lay individual can understand them.
