Emily Madeline-liminality & college.

Turner talks a lot about liminality in his books. My paper also has a lot to do with this idea of in-between. The idea of college goes along with liminality-when you are in college, you aren't a child but you aren't a real adult yet; you are just somewhere between the two. Everyone loves college and never wants to leave. They don't want to grow up or get a grown up job with responsibilities. I am the opposite. I'm graduating early because I don't really care about staying in college the rest of my life. I'm perfectly okay skipping this in-between phase of life. But I guess things play out like they do for a reason because there are some things I've learned while in college that I know otherwise I never would have.
