Joey Voboril on Videos in class
We just got done watching the documentary from the "the Lion King." What I really liked about his film was how 'real' it seemed. There was no bustling film producers, no special effects, it was a guy with his camera on an adventure and I found that to be super appealing. I appreciated how he was comfortable enough to portray both the SUPER highs of his trek across the AT, but also, he was willing to share his lowest spots and struggles as well. He included a lot of people in the story that he met along the way. He explained almost every state and what he liked and didn't like. I got the impression that he was not just walking along the AT but he was on an adventure on the spirit. He was taking into account everything he felt and saw along the way and left nothing out.
